Keep on Trucking

On the border of Nevada and California, a trucker threw out his last stash of alcohol on his way to an AA meeting

"I looked up into the night sky, and said I was done."

They say that an alcoholic arranges his life around drinking while the non-alcoholic arranges drinking around his life. By that definition, I am a real alcoholic.

My first real job while in high school was as a night manager for a local pizza parlor. I really enjoyed working with the customers, and as a bonus, I was able to steal a gallon of beer at the end of the night. That was pretty important, as I was only 17 at the time. At that age, I had no DUIs, only a minor charge for alcohol possession.
