The Beautiful Smell of Rain
An impending storm at sea reminds a member why he's so lucky
Gratitude is the cornerstone of my sobriety. Like all of us, I sometimes find it in the simplest of things, and sometimes it washes over me like a wave cascades over a glistening shore. Sometimes I have to search for gratitude, but sometimes my Higher Power just slaps me in the face with it. On one particular evening recently my Higher Power did just that.
