AA Around the World

Spain--Among the highlights of 1994, we should mention the establishment of the 10th of June as AA day in Spain. To mark the event, public information meetings are held all over the country, and articles on AA are published in the Spanish press. Newspapers also carry pieces--and radio and TV channels broadcast reports--on subjects related to the AA program, such as "cooperation without affiliation," "self-support," etc. Cooperation has been established with a representative of the National Plan on Drugs and Alcohol, and the president of our General Service Board attends the Sociodrogalcohol Congress.
