Finding My Way Home

Feeling alienated even amongst family, this AA used prayer to feel reconciled with his family

Except for a nightmare about being cut in half by the steel wheel of a trolley car running over my midsection, early memories are all about joy and promise. During those Great Depression years, our family lived on a manicured knoll between the Shapaug River and a dirt road leading to town. Our apartment occupied a corner of the main building on the campus of a private boys' boarding school.
