Staying Out of God's Way
He came to accept a power greater than himself
I had my first drink when I was five years old. I came into AA when I was 41 years old in 1988. I believe it took every drink that I had, not one too many, just the correct amount to get me into AA. Not a moment too soon, nor a moment too late.
I drank every day while in college and wound up not graduating. If there had been a class for drinking, I would have had a higher grade point average! I won't go into all the things that happened. I will say that my great protector, alcohol, failed me.
