Your Move

You're Not Alone Anymore

Responses from readers concerning the article in the January 1998 issue: "Meetings, Meetings, Meetings?"

The article on "Meetings, Meetings, Meetings?" reminds me of my attitude when I came into the Fellowship in 1981. The burning question for me back then was "How long do I have to go to these meetings?" I was told, "You only have to go until you want to go, then you don't have to go any more." Thank God AA "took" with me, and most of the time I look forward to going to AA meetings. In these meetings I hear how my fellow AAs are dealing with life and staying sober. I continue to hear so much with which I can identify and keep from feeling unique.
