AA Grapevine Readers Respond to "Is AA Just for Christians?" Published in the October 2003 Issue

In my experience, discussing which closing prayer to use in our meeting made for a great group conscience discussion. We all aired our views and respected one another's views. We came up with this solution: We printed a hand-out page of traditional prayers, including the Third, Seventh, and Eleventh Step Prayers found in the Big Book and the "Twelve and Twelve," along with the Serenity Prayer and the Lord's Prayer. Those who don't know the prayers can look at the handout.
