At Wit's End

SOON AFTER coming into AA, I stopped by my sister's house on the way to a meeting. When I got there, I realized that when I left my house I'd forgotten a can of mixed nuts I'd agreed to bring to the meeting that night. I told her I had to run because I had to pick up some nuts for the meeting. She asked, very seriously, "How many of those people do you have to pick up?"
