Don't Drink and Go to Meetings?
That didn't work for this AA, but the Steps did
I was at a meeting at one of the AA clubs around here, and it was a young man's turn to speak. It became obvious that he was new to our fellowship. He went on about his plans for staying sober in AA. He thought that if he didn't drink and went to meetings that everything would turn out OK. As the different people added their comments most agreed that that was a good strategy which would work for the new guy.
