Reconnecting Through the Years

Their separate lives took them to various continents but they kept bumping into each other through AA

I had told the story from the podium through tear-filled eyes many times before in AA meetings. But this time, at the maximum security facility, an inmate asked me, "Are you still in touch with Kevin?"

I met Kevin in 1993 in Seoul, Korea. He was in the Army stationed near the DMZ and I was in the Air Force stationed in Seoul. We were both active in Intergroup and he would ride a bus for over an hour to come to our monthly meetings and then stay for the speaker meeting afterwards.
