What's My Secret?

An oldtimer tells us how she did it

After receiving a 35 year chip earlier this year, more than one AA member approached me asking: What's your secret?

I responded candidly that I have no 'secret', that I believe that the Big Book and other AA literature clearly spell out how we go about getting and staying sober and living a full and meaningful sobriety. The question did prompt me to reflect on how I live my sobriety.
