More than Drinking

After getting sober, she realized that her problem was a spiritual one

The obsession to drink was miraculously lifted from me after attending daily AA meetings for 30 days.

I am so grateful for that! But as Dr. Paul, alcoholic, says "There's more to stopping drinking than stopping drinking."

So now I'm left with the "ism" in alcoholism. I may never take another drink but I know damn well I will take another "think!"

My crippling "ism" has mostly to do with the disease of perception so I guess that acronym for me would be "I See Mistakes."

I can be absolutely sure that my perception is right on … and I can be so wrong. It's not...
