An Acronym for Sobriety
A members shares with us a tool for staying sober
I use a simple acronym to remember principles of the program. The acronym spells out the word LDRSHIP.
Not the kind of leadership you'd find in a corporate board room, but the kind of leadership you'd find in a trusted servant.
Here it is:
L is for Loyalty – the kind of loyalty we learn about in Step One and Tradition One.
D is for Duty – the kind of duty I take on when I am being of service to others, whether it is on a 12-Step call or making coffee for my home group.
