Today I started the day thinking about where and when I started this wonderful journey of recovery. It was January of 1999 and I was going further and further in debt. My mind was twisted and I didn't see a way out.

I turned to the only person I knew who could help me solve my financial problems and he said "Wow you're really in a mess." Not the answer I wanted, but it was the answer I needed.
