An Ol' Country Gal
You never know who will carry the message for you

I am glad that at my first meeting, I heard a woman from Al-Anon speak. She told the story of a man exactly like me and how he was lost in alcoholism and then recovered and lived out a wonderful life and died sober.
I remember feeling there was a laser beam from that ol' country gal's lips to my heart. On the way home, I heard a Beatles song come on the radio. I sang my heart out because I knew I'd be all right.
