Keeping it simple in prison
I’ve been incarcerated three times in the last 14 years due to bad decisions while drunk. When I’m released next fall I will have spent over six years here in jail.
Although I had been “around” AA for several years, I remained a halfstepper, “too analytical for my own good,” or so I have been told. My attempts to perceive or accept a Higher Power or God of my understanding were elusive. But the good folks at AA suggested, Keep it Simple.
