A Portrait of a Marriage

They met in a bar, did a lot of drinking together, and then both got sober in AA

The morning George and I got married in 1965 in Lenox, Ma., I had a fierce hangover and wanted a drink really badly. We only invited George's family to celebrate with us. We were married by a Justice of the Peace who was also a pig farmer. He lived right next door to a motel, so, we planned on staying there the night of our wedding.
