Maine time

After 29 years sober, I’m still learning lessons in humility. My sober life in retirement has allowed me to spend extended periods of time in Maine. My wife and I have a small cottage there and enjoy the quiet woods with the sound of the ocean surf nearby. In an attempt to extend my AA family there, I started attending many meetings. Within a drive of 15 or 20 miles I’ve been able to attend a meeting or more every day of the week.
