Alone on Christmas Eve, a newcomer makes a risky deal with God
I first got through the doors of AA the way that I’m sure many of our members did. My spouse gave me an ultimatum: “Stop drinking, or I’m going to leave you.” So it came as a big surprise when, after I managed to string together three weeks of sobriety, my wife packed her bags and left me.
