An AA used HALT to learn more about who he really was

I woke up this morning laughing. Why? Because of HALT. Not the traditional use of the acronym, but a new one! Here it is:

H for hungry
I remember so clearly the role hunger played in my first 30 days (and all of my days since). I became the "goodie getter" for one of my meetings. Of course it was most important that i get just the right and perfect goodie to please all of my new family members. "People pleaser" was my first name.
