An incident after a night of drinking would change both of their lives forever

One day in Boston I walked into a bar to have a few beers. Just then a woman also came in and sat near me, so we started talking. We were telling jokes and stories and just laughing and having a good time. This went on for about four-to-five hours. By the end, we were drunk.

We decided to go to a motel and continue the fun we were having together. So we got in my car about 11:00 p.m. and were driving on the expressway. I was doing about 50 miles an hour when she said she changed her mind and would rather go home.
