Y., date line tells of a wealthy Alder Creek resident, who was held for grand jury action on a second degree manslaughter charge in the fatal shooting of a Utica lawyer who had been a member of A.A. The deceased went to the Alder Creek resident's home at the request of the latter's wife who sought to have her husband quit drinking.
