Hurdles to Hooch in Finland

To most American tipplers, used to popping into a pub for one or two quickies. Finland seems harsh and unyielding in its laws that make drinking difficult.

In the first place, your outfit must include a coat and a tie if you want to patronize the few, scattered beer-serving restaurants. Even so, you'll have to order food after three beers. There are places where you don't need to eat, or wear a tie, but the catch is that in these places the beer is nonalcoholic.
