The wife complained bitterly to the marriage counselor that when her husband drank too much (which was often) he was an angry man, most difficult to live with.
The man insisted, however, that he was not an alcoholic. He drank, yes, but drinking was necessary to carrying out his business deals: "A few martinis at lunch, and your potential customer is ready to give you an order."
"How many martinis might you have at such a luncheon?" the counselor asked. "How many is a few?"
