FREEPORT, N.Y.--Freeport Hospital has become the first treatment center "devoted exclusively" to alcoholics and their families to receive state certification, the hospital announced. Dr. Frank Herzlin, medical director, said the 58-bed private facility had received the certification from the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene.
