Something to Celebrate

In the Big Book, there’s a line that says, “We are people who normally would not mix.” Tradition Ten specifically tells us that we have “no opinion on outside issues.” The Preamble reminds us that our primary purpose is to “stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.” I thank my creator that this is so, or else I would have missed the opportunity to make two new friends, gain a sponsee and re-read the Big Book.
