The endless glass of wine

I was standing beside the counter at a local restaurant with my laminated claim number in hand. I glanced around the room and noticed that several of the other waiting patrons were holding onto wine glasses in addition to their claim numbers. My attention was drawn to the server behind the counter who asked one of the customers, “Would you like to upgrade to the endless glass for $7?”
