Drink, Rinse, Repeat

This teen hid her vodka in a hair-raising place while she tried desperately to clean up her act

When I was a child, people would look at me and say, “What a cute pudge ball!” They would pinch my cheeks. I’m Italian and that’s what we do. But as I got older, I’d look in the mirror and want to break it. I hated what I saw. I hated who I was and it wasn’t just what I saw on the outside.

I was raised in a loving and supportive family, but one with high expectations. I had to get good grades. I would go to college to become something: doctor, lawyer, secretary, engineer, psychiatrist. I was expected to do work that would bring money and prestige.
