Area Convention: A Beginner’s View
For this newcomer, going to her area convention was like attending a big party where all the guests were happy, friendly and sober
I just attended my area’s 59th annual convention this weekend. It was my first convention and it fell right at the end of my 90-in-90. Since I attend so many meetings right now, I continually heard the same AA announcements about the convention at the start of each meeting. It sounded like a great way to get myself more involved, meet new people and learn more about recovery.
