MONTREAL, QUE.--The Government of the Northwest Territories has published a series of comic books attacking alcoholism, which is one of the main social problems of Canada's bleak frozen North.

Starring Capt. Al Cohol, who is much like Superman except that he has a weakness for strong drink, the comic-book stories are set in Northern Eskimo villages, and their message is anything but subtle.
