In a safe place
While working in a refugee camp, a member tells how she stays sane, sober and most of all, grateful
I’m writing from the country of Jordan, where I’m working in a humanitarian crisis among refugee camps. Before I left Tennessee, I looked up AA meetings via the wonderful internet and found two meetings a week—one on Mondays and one on Wednesdays, both at 7 p.m. I also emailed a contact address provided and almost immediately heard back from a member named Sue. I was so pleased.
