How I tell my story

We’ve all been told from the beginning, once we were able to hear what is read and said at AA meetings, that no one in recovery would judge us for what we did while in our active alcoholism, as long as we were serious about sobriety. It isn’t one of the Promises, but it’s clearly there in the spirit of the program.
