His drinking caused him to push everyone away, but now he needed them. This was his final boarding call
Growing up, I lived a very social lifestyle, playing hockey, basketball and lacrosse as a youth in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada. On the outside I seemed to be very confident. I was liked by everyone at school and by my teammates, but inside I felt shy and withdrawn. I hated being in large groups of people and was always worried about what people were thinking of me.
