AA in the workplace

The writer of “Lying on My Resume” decided that, after losing job number 13, he needed to change something about himself. So he went to meetings and shared. What he got back was a lot of good AA wisdom and experience. Now he writes, “In the mornings, I asked what I could bring to the day’s work. ... I asked how I could be of greater help ...”  

What kind of worker were you when you were drinking? Are you a better employee today? Give examples. How have the Steps and tools of AA improved your performance? What are some specific things AA has taught you about being a worker among workers? How was your sponsor or the literature helpful? What do you tell your sponses?
