Deep blue silent mystery
Like the flow of the river where he took his first drink, he followed his search, which led him to AA
I remember what it was like as a young boy, waking up on those summer mornings with that wonderful feeling of excitement. I would bounce out of bed and run outside into that world of a thousand new adventures. The screen door slammed behind me and I was off. I raced down the riverbank and through the sweet-smelling cottonwoods to that deep blue silent mystery, the river.
