Educating Teen-Aged Educators

Junior and senior high school students are being trained by state Parent Teachers Associations how to teach their peers about alcohol problems. Richard Spoonster, national director of the PTA alcohol education project, said the Arkansas PTA was given a grant and is currently training teams of ten- to 11-year-olds on the problems of alcohol abuse. These children will have the major responsibility for educating their peers.
