Occupational alcoholism programs have increased in number in recent years, according to a survey of major corporations. The survey, conducted by Greenleigh Associates, Inc. for the Corporate Headquarters Alcoholism Project, covered 211 corporations with headquarters in New York. It was found that 40 of these companies maintained alcohol-abuse programs in their headquarters offices, as well as in branches and subsidiaries located elsewhere.
