The motley crew

The Young People’s Group (YPG) of Citrus County started in December 2015 when a group of young recovering alcoholics noticed there was not a meeting specifically geared toward younger newcomers in our area of Florida. The Nature Coast is known for attracting retirees. And as much as we love our seasoned neighbors, a few of us felt there was a need for a sober gathering place that might be attractive to young people seeking sobriety.
