Alcoholic Brain Atrophy

A brain scan may be used in the future to detect organic reasons for criminal behavior, including possible brain atrophy in alcoholic offenders. A medical team described how computerized axial tomographic (CAT) scans--telegraphic sweeps of cross sections of the brain--might help.
