Age-Raising Trend Continues

ALBANY, N.Y.--Assemblyman Melvin Zimmer, a Syracuse Democrat, introduced legislation that would raise the minimum drinking age to 21, putting New York in line with other states that are attempting to restrict teenage drinking. The drinking age is now 18.
