Labels and Ads--Effective?

Many of these items are contrary to AA philosophy. Their publication here does not mean that the Grapevine endorses or approves them; they are offered solely for your information.

It has hardly been a social secret that alcohol can be hazardous. We would imagine that's just what people mean when they name their poison or warn about "old debbil rum." Not for nothing are the cartoon jugs labeled XXX. But to the United States Senate, such folk warnings do not suffice. The Senate's motives are surely commendable.
