How Much Is Too Much?

Readers may be interested to know how much we can drink before it becomes a menace to our own health. The answer is: not much. And the more we drink, the greater the threat to our well-being. Drinking 13/4 oz. of alcohol a day, the amount in three bottles of beer, is enough to cause cirrhosis of the liver in some people. When the daily intake is double that amount, there is an added danger of brain damage.
