Sobriety Test Resented

About 2,300 Southern Pacific railroad engineers staged a wildcat strike in a protest against a new sobriety test.

The strike began in El Paso, Texas, when several engineers refused to take the new test, and spread westward to New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Utah.
