"I never even thought of a drink."

First-time sober outing

I noticed that on the December 2010 web poll, “First time sober,” I did more than one thing on that first function I attended sober where drinking would be involved. The occasion was a concert to see “The Who.” I took a co-sponsor along, had a long list of AA phone numbers, and said my Third Step Prayer and my Serenity Prayer that morning. It was a fantastic evening and I never even thought of a drink!
