The results of the 1977 survey of AA membership in the U.S. and Canada have been carefully analyzed, and they are now summarized in a new leaflet available from the AA General Service Office (Box 459, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10017). With expressive illustrations, "The AA Member" shows the wonderful variety of people to be found at a typical AA meeting, the opportunity for sobriety, and the fast-rising proportion of women and young people in the membership.
