Running in the Family
For many of us, alcoholism is a family disease. In one story this week, Bottom of the Ninth, a woman tells the story of not only her own road to sobriety, but that of her father. In another story, a man tells of how he was able to find AA long after his father rejected the solutions of the program.
In other stories, we learn how members are able stay sober while they rebuild fractured relationships with their parents, children and even former spouses.
