We hail from nine countries around the world.
I walked into my first AA meeting on September 16, 2005. And, I’ve been sober ever since. I can’t say it’s been easy, but it’s definitely gotten a whole lot easier, especially once I began taking actions outlined in our Big Book.
I got involved in service early, and it has been one of the highlights of my life. First, as coffee maker, then opening our meeting house. One evening, I asked what a general service representative was. Next thing I knew, I was it, with simple instructions like, “Now go to the District meeting and find out.”
