A Relapse to Reflect Upon

Running into a woman who had gone back to drinking made her think twice

It was a beautiful sober morning. I am riding down the street with another AA. We stop at the corner store and I decide to wait in the car. While he is away, I see a woman whom I know from around the rooms. She is limping and looks lost. She recognizes me and walks up to the car.

As she mumbles something about going to the grocery store, I can smell liquor on her breath. It is very strong. I smile and tell her it was nice to see her and that maybe I'd see her at a meeting soon.
