Treating the Causes of Alcoholism

I liked the article "An AA Doctor's Prescription," which appeared in the July 1963 issue of the Grapevine. It nicely stressed the importance of stopping the symptom of drinking. The picture showing the roots and fruits of alcoholism is graphic and intelligible. The concept "the treatment of a symptom" is, I am sure, a sound one.
