AA + GP = Progress

The Director of Health Education for the American Medical Association tells how the physician can help the drunk to seek recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous.

A section of reprints from the special Grapevine publication AA Today, which was published in 1960 in honor of AA's Twenty-Fifth Anniversary. Three articles that follow were written by three nonalcoholic "friends of AA"--a doctor, a psychiatrist, and an archdeacon--and look at AA's success in treating alcoholism through the prism of each writer's individual professional discipline. A fourth article, by co-founder Bill W., sums up AA's progress (as of 1960) and offers some possibilities for the Fellowship's future.
